our story

Noah and Lili’s story began in February 2022 — on Lili’s birthday 🎂, no less. She needed a substitute for her adult recreational volleyball 🏐 playoff game, and her first choice was… not available. He did, however, point Lili in Noah’s direction. After the games (won one, lost the second), Lili’s teammates urged her to recruit Noah to join their team full-time, which he happily did; they didn’t know that this was the start of a different kind of team. Not just a grass volleyball doubles team, though that also turned out to be true. After their first date at a Stephen Colbert taping 🎭, their relationship got serious quickly — they both had a pretty good feeling about where things were heading. So much so that Noah felt comfortable announcing that he and Lili were dating, instead of technically asking her out. They quickly moved in together in New York City’s financial district 🏙️, where Noah’s tangible contributions to the relationship (a bedframe and decor that made Lili’s apartment feel “lived in” 🙄) were quickly appreciated. From there, their relationship fell into a steady, comfortable rhythm — regular trips to the Upper West Side to visit Liz (Lili’s mom) and her two dachshunds Henry and Hanna, Jewish holidays with Levines, Robbins, and Doctoroffs, hundreds of volleyball games, darts at Scruffy Duffy’s and Bull McCabes 🎯. That rhythm was disrupted a few times — 15 stitches in Lili’s knee after a bike fall 🚳, another 5 in her thumb after she “accidentally” sliced it open in a flagrant attempt to skip a ski day ⛷️, Noah’s one post-volleyball ER trip, and a skydiving journey 🪂 where when asked what their favorite part was, Noah’s answer of “the ground” was barely heard under Lili’s “free fall.” They traveled, too — most notably to Kenya 🇰🇪 for Lili’s 30th birthday, where Noah spent an unreasonable amount of time talking to their guide about Kenyan infrastructure and political dynamics, boring the rest of their companions to tears. The rest of 2024 was similarly eventful, most notably marked by the arrival of Toby 🐕, their mini bernedoodle and hopefully ringbearer. With Noah working in Istanbul… er… New York City Hall, Lili took charge of Toby’s first months; when she got sick of that, she tore her ACL 🦵 (and then took a dive on the sidewalk six months post-surgery for her fourth ER trip of the relationship). Throughout all of this, Noah and Lili continued to grow closer together — starting to plan this wedding months before Noah proposed 👀 on a questionably-publicly-accessible part of the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland on September 16, 2025. They’re eager to start the next phase of their lives together — and to celebrate with all of you — on October 24, 2026! ♥️💙💛💚🖤

Our Story

Where is the venue? Is it handicap accessible?Chelsea Sun Inn’s address is 487 Stone Church Dr, Mt Bethel, PA 18343. The entire event will be held outdoors. The ceremony will be held on grass, and the reception area is under a heated tent..Our ceremony takes place about a 5-minute walk from where you'll park. If you'd prefer, there's also a trolley that can take you up the hill. If you want to drive the trolley, get in line behind Noah and Jim — they called dibs. There are a few parking spots at the ceremony site itself, for those with mobility concerns.

Is there parking available at the venue?Yes, and there will be an attendant to direct you. You're more than welcome to leave your car at the venue overnight and pick it up in the morning if you need to.

How do the shuttles work?We've arranged shuttles for guests staying at the hotels within our room block..Rideshare availability is limited, so we recommend driving, carpooling, or taking the shuttle to ensure you arrive in time for the ceremony..Shuttles will be leaving each hotel by 3:15PM sharp to the venue..Hotel check-in is at 3PM, though we highly recommend seeing if you can get an earlier check-in. We know it's a quick turnaround to make a 3:15PM shuttle, and we appreciate your hustle so we can start our ceremony on time (and start eating, drinking, and dancing)!

What is the dress code?The dress code is ✨fall garden party✨. What’s that, you ask?.Neither Noah nor Lili have the faintest clue, but this is what our good friend ChatGPT said:.For women, feel free to wear any length dress, dressy pants and/or skirts with a blouse. We recommend comfortable shoes as the ceremony site requires a short walk on grass. Consider thicker fabrics and/or bringing a shawl or wrap for added warmth during the evening..For men, blazers and suits are both welcome, with or without a tie. There’s a special prize for best socks..We request no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sneakers and/or athleisure wear, unless you’re Adam Sandler — Adam, you’re welcome in whatever you feel comfortable in. Use your best judgement and be ready to party.
